If yes, you have a great taste in choosing something for yourself!
Aren’t we right?
Dokio deals in a wide range of solar products. It manufactures and supplies products like monocrystalline and polycrystalline solar panels, solar modules etc.
There is a lot of demand for its solar panels and that is why we have listed out its best solar panel and reviewed them for you.
Let’s get started.
DOKIO 220W Monocrystalline Foldable Solar Panel
Dokio promises that this 220W solar panel, with mono-crystalline cells, is very efficient, yet designed as a portable, durable and lightweight, foldable solution for energy needs.
They promise that this solar panel should meet the needs of people with RV campers and boats.
It has a fabric case, which is very easy to fold. It is very thin at just 0.2 inches and also is not very heavy and weighs 10.5lb. The fabric on this solar panel is also waterproof, so you don’t need to worry about taking this out on a rainy day.
The foldability of this panel makes it very portable, meaning you can mount it on the roof of your RV or the sides of boats. It also comes with jumper cables, in case you need to charge up your car’s dead battery.
The best thing about this solar panel is that it is foldable, which is the most important detail in a portable solar panel. It means that it is easily portable, easy to carry and transport. Also, you can pack this with your backpack without losing much surface area, which means it will still generate some electricity while it is hanging on your back and you can power up your electronics on the go. Cool isn’t it?
This solar panel is amazingly reliable.
You can use it for all your camping needs as per your suitability and can use it to power up your Air pump for inflating the tyres in an emergency.
You can also use it to power up small lights for illumination in the night time when you are camping.
One of the best features of this solar panel is that you can use it directly, without connecting to a battery.
It is much better as a simple set up for a camping trip. You can use it to charge up your van batteries, and it comes with a solar inverter controller, which has 2 USB ports on it, which you can use to charge up your smartphones or other USB devices.
The conversion efficiency is really high. You can use it to power your RVs and Boats for weeks.
In bright sunlight, it will deliver good amps and in cloudy days you can expect it to produce little decreased energy.
But still, it will be enough to power up your essential appliances.
Bottom line: If you are looking for a folding solar panel, go for this one. It will not disappoint you.
It’s as easy as solar panels can get.

Frequently Asked Questions
What type of plug connection does it have?
It has a 2-pin (positive/negative, polarity-protected) DC “Quick Disconnect” plugs. However, Dokio must have created its own version of what is otherwise a very common plug connector for DC electrical uses because it seems NOT to be compatible with the typical US version of this same plug.
Dokio’s version has a different “male” pin, which will plug into the “female” side of the US-type plug, but the “female” side of the Dokio plug will not accept the male pin on the US plug.
What size wire this panel uses?
You can use 12 gauge wire size but depending how long is your extension cord you probably may go down to gauge 10 and use a 20A fuse.
How long are the battery attachment cables?
About 6 feet. However, because they are plug-in cables you can add length as needed.
Is it waterproof?
It is waterproof, but I don’t think it is not meant to be left outside full time because of the canvas and the damage the sun can do to it.
